MotoPress Hotel Booking: a rental agreement per stay
Choose the rental agreement each accommodation type starts, once. Every confirmed guest is emailed it with check-in, check-out, nights and party size on it.
Before you start
- The plugin installed and this site connected (the getting-started guide).
- MotoPress Hotel Booking (Lite or paid), active, with accommodation types, and its Booking Confirmed page set up (its setup wizard makes it).
- A form in SignSealer, under Forms & QR, made from the template the customer should sign. The plugin calls it a workflow.
What happens next
- Every guest whose booking is confirmed is emailed the rental agreement, with the stay's dates and party on it.
- MotoPress's Booking Confirmed page (or Reservation Received, after a payment) shows a button to sign.
- A booking starts its agreement once confirmed, by the guest's email, by you or by a payment. A booking imported from another calendar starts nothing. See who signed in SignSealer.
If something is not right
A guest booked and nothing was sent.
MotoPress waits for the guest to confirm by email (or for you, or a payment, depending on its confirmation setting); the agreement starts when the booking is confirmed. If it is confirmed and still nothing was sent, SignSealer → Bookings says why.
There is no button after booking.
The button is on the Booking Confirmed page the guest reaches from MotoPress's confirmation email, or the Reservation Received page after a payment. Right after checkout, before confirming, there is nothing to sign yet.
A booking from Airbnb or Booking.com did not start anything.
Bookings imported through MotoPress's calendar sync come without the guest's email, so there is nobody to send the agreement to.
One booking has two accommodations.
The first accommodation's type chooses the agreement, and the party is everybody staying in both.
