Events Manager: a waiver with every event booking
Choose the workflow every event's bookings start, once. Whoever books is emailed the waiver with the event, date, time, place and spaces already on it.
Before you start
- The plugin installed and this site connected (the getting-started guide).
- Events Manager, active, with bookings turned on for an event and a ticket people can book.
- A form in SignSealer, under Forms & QR, made from the template the customer should sign. The plugin calls it a workflow.
What happens next
- Whoever books is emailed the agreement, one for each booking, saying how many spaces it is for.
- Events Manager's message after booking shows a button to sign.
- A booking waiting for your approval starts its agreement; one waiting on a payment starts it once approved; a rejected or canceled one starts nothing. See who signed in SignSealer.
If something is not right
Somebody booked and nothing was sent.
Open SignSealer → Bookings: when a booking should have started a signing and did not, the page says why, such as a blank the agreement needs that nothing answered. Check that the first row, or the event's own, has a workflow chosen.
I approved a booking and nothing more was sent.
That is right: a booking starts its agreement once, when it is made (or, if it was waiting on a payment, when it is approved). Approving it later does not send a second one.
Two people booked. Does each of them sign?
Only if the workflow says so. In SignSealer, open the workflow and tick Everyone in the party signs. The person who booked then tells us about the others before they sign, and the agreement is complete when every adult in the party has signed. Those with an email address are emailed their link; for a mobile number, the person who booked texts it from their own phone; and anybody without either picks their name from one party link the person who booked shares. A child is signed for by a parent or guardian, who answers the questions about them; the workflow can ask for dates of birth and the age of majority your state uses.
My recurring event's dates are each listed.
Events Manager keeps each date of a recurring event as an event of its own, so each can have its own row. Most sites leave them all on the first row.
And Events Manager Pro?
Its payments and custom booking forms have not been tested yet. A booking waiting on a payment starts its agreement once it is approved.
