Amelia: an agreement with every booking
Choose the workflow each Amelia service starts, once. Whoever books is emailed the agreement with the service, time, party size, employee and place on it.
Before you start
- The plugin installed and this site connected (the getting-started guide).
- Amelia, active, with the services people book.
- A form in SignSealer, under Forms & QR, made from the template the customer should sign. The plugin calls it a workflow.
What happens next
- The person who booked is emailed the agreement, with the booking's details already on it.
- Pressing Book opens the agreement over Amelia's form, and the booking is made once it is signed. A booking Amelia takes payment for through Stripe or WooCommerce is made first, and the agreement opens over the page just after.
- A booking saved again — rescheduled, confirmed, paid — starts nothing a second time, and a canceled or rejected one starts nothing. See who signed in SignSealer.
If something is not right
Somebody booked and nothing was sent.
Open SignSealer → Bookings: when a booking should have started a signing and did not, the page says which booking and why, such as no email address on it, or a blank the agreement needs that nothing answered. Check the service has a workflow chosen.
A service I just added is not in the list.
Reload SignSealer → Bookings: it lists the services as they are when the page opens. A hidden service is listed; a disabled one is not.
Can people book without signing?
Not through Amelia's form: closing the agreement leaves the booking unmade, and Amelia says to sign it first. A booking Amelia makes on its own route (Stripe, WooCommerce) or one your staff add is made first; the person is emailed the link, and on the page they booked from the agreement opens just after.
Somebody signed and then did not book.
If the time was taken in between, or they gave up, the agreement has no booking. An hour later SignSealer voids it, so its link stops working. One already signed by everyone cannot be voided, and SignSealer → Bookings says whose it is.
