Texting comes with the membership. On Free, the document still goes by email, but no text is sent. On the membership, a text costs three cents, up to two segments long, from your prepaid credit. If the credit will not cover it, the text is held, and the email still goes.
For everyone who wants to text signing links.

There is no carrier registration for you to fill in, and nothing for SignSealer to approve. Every text goes from SignSealer's own toll-free number, which the carriers have verified, and every text names Sign Sealer and your business. Set up texting opens the Texting page.
One panel is for later. If a carrier checks where you take numbers, they open your booking form, privacy policy and terms. Give us their addresses, and we read them first and say what is missing. Nothing here stops a text today.
Carriers require the words beside the tick box to say seven things. Replying STOP opts out. HELP gets help. Message and data rates may apply. How often messages come. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. The number is not shared or sold for marketing. And where your terms and privacy policy are. This wording has all seven. Put your business's name in, and keep the rest. And the box always starts unticked.
Wording that leaves any of them out is refused, and the refusal names what is missing. Change the words on your form first. Then the number can be texted.
On a SignSealer form, choosing Text me the link shows the box, unticked, with those words. When the person ticks it, we record their number, the exact words, and the internet address it came from. There is nothing for you to do.
On your own WordPress site, the SignSealer plugin can ask for you. In its WooCommerce settings, tick Ask at checkout, and save. With a form plugin, like Gravity Forms or WPForms, add a tick box with these same words, and choose it as the texting consent field. Only a ticked box is recorded.
From your own booking system, record it over the API, when you take the number: the number, where you took it, and the exact words. Wording that is missing something is refused there too.
And for a number taken at the counter, anybody on your team who may send documents can record it here. The video Text the link instead shows that, step by step.
Numbers you may text lists each number, where it came from, and since when. The exact words are kept with each one, and nobody can edit them. A new agreement never overwrites an old one.
When somebody replies STOP, or a word like unsubscribe or cancel, their consent ends at your business and at every other business that had it. They are not texted again. The document still reaches them by email, and this page says why the text did not go. A reply of HELP is answered for you, with who we are and how to reach support.
Recording consent for that number again is refused. That choice was theirs, and it stays theirs.
