Billing and credit

Billing is one page, in the order you would ask about it: your membership, the credit it is paid from, what a signing costs, and what this month has cost so far. Across the top: the membership, your credit, the signings this month, and when it renews.

Billing is one page, in the order you would ask about it: your membership, the credit it is paid from, what a signing costs, and what this month has cost so far. Across the top: the membership, your credit, the signings this month, and when it renews.

Free gives you twenty-five signings a month, with nothing to pay. The membership is nine dollars ninety-nine a month, taken from your credit. It adds texting, passcodes, ID evidence and AI drafting. The first twenty-five signings of each month are still free, then ten cents each, falling to four cents with volume. You can stop it here at any time. It runs to the end of the month you paid for, and nothing is lost.

Credit is bought in whole dollars, from twenty-five, on Stripe's own page, so we never see your card. It never expires while the account is open, and whatever is left is refunded on request if you close it. Underneath, every movement of the balance, in and out, with its date.

Automatic reload tops the credit up for you, so sending never stops for want of it. Say when: here, when it falls under ten dollars, add fifty. Any whole-dollar amount from twenty-five to a thousand will do, and a larger one means fewer charges. It uses the card from your last top-up. If that card is declined, reload turns itself off, and this page says so.

A spending limit stops sending for the rest of the month once this month's signings and extras would draw more than you set. The membership fee does not count towards it. Type a whole number of dollars, or leave it empty for no limit, and save. The page says back exactly what it will do.

Sales tax is added where we are registered to collect it, and prices are shown before tax. A nonprofit, a school or a government body may not owe it. To claim that, choose the state that issued your certificate and the kind of exemption, and attach the certificate itself. Somebody here checks it against the state's own record, and tax is charged until they have.

So where does each charge show up? This month lists every line drawn from your credit so far, and the credit list above shows each movement of the balance. Extras are drawn only when they are used, at the rates shown on each one.

And every change to how you pay is on Activity. Choose Billing, and there is the reload you saved: who saved it, and when. Nothing on it can be edited or removed.
