From Jobber quote to signed agreement.

When a quote goes out from Jobber, the client is sent the agreement that goes with it: your terms, a work authorization, a waiver for the job site. Today through Zapier.

Connecting Jobber comes with the membership, $9.99 a month from prepaid credit, with the first 10 signings of each month still free.

Why connect Jobber

Three moments this is for.

The quote that carries its terms

The quote goes to the client and your service agreement follows it, filled with the client's name and the property's address.

The yes before the crew rolls

The work authorization is signed before anybody books a visit, so nobody starts on a handshake.

The record when it is questioned

The signed PDF, its certificate and every event on the trail, found by the quote number it was sent with.

How it works

1

Today: a Zap

Jobber's Quote Sent trigger in Zapier runs SignSealer's Send a Form to Sign, with the quote number as your reference.

2

The signature comes back

Jobber's Zapier app has no step that writes to a quote, so the signed document stays in SignSealer, found by that reference, and Document Completed can tell your team.

3

Built, waiting on our app

SignSealer's own Jobber app: a quote that reaches the status you choose sends what its client owes, and a note goes on the quote when it is signed.

What it can do

Each thing the connection does, and where it stands today.

Sends when the quote is sent

Built, not connectable yet

A quote reaching Awaiting response, which Jobber sets when it is sent, sends the client your agreement. You can choose other statuses instead.

Or it waits for you

Built, not connectable yet

A connection can instead build each quote's list and wait: nothing leaves until somebody presses Send in SignSealer.

Who signs

Built, not connectable yet

The quote's client, the person Jobber sends the quote to, with the name and email on their client record.

Your documents read the quote

Built, not connectable yet

The quote's title, number, total and the property's address are facts your agreement and your rules can read.

An archived quote stops it

Built, not connectable yet

A quote archived or deleted voids what the client has not signed. Approving it, or turning it into a job, changes nothing.

A note on the quote

Built, not connectable yet

When everything is signed, or something is declined, a note on the quote says so, with each document, who signed it, when, and a link to it.

Choose quote by quote

Not yet

Today every quote that reaches the status sends. Choosing on the quote itself which ones send is not built yet.

The signed PDF and its certificate

Today

Each signed document is sealed with a certificate anyone can check, and kept in SignSealer. Zapier's Document Completed hands the PDF on, to an email or to wherever you keep documents.

What comes across

What arrives from Jobber, and what SignSealer does with it.

From JobberUsed for
Quote and clientWho signs, and the values filled into the agreement
Property addressWhere the work is, for the agreement and for your rules
Quote statusWhat sends the agreement, and what cancels it
Completed, declinedThe note the native connection leaves on the quote

Where it stands: planned

Built, and not yet connectable. The native connection is written against Jobber's developer documentation and tested against stand-ins, not a live Jobber account: a quote that reaches the status you choose sends what its client owes, and a note goes on the quote when everything is signed. It can be connected once SignSealer's Jobber app exists, and Jobber reviews an app before it connects more than five accounts or appears in its App Marketplace. Until then Zapier carries the quote across, and the guide has the exact steps.

Start today

What you can do now, without waiting.

1

Step 1

In Zapier: trigger on Jobber's Quote Sent, then SignSealer's Send a Form to Sign, with the client's name and email from the quote.

2

Step 2

Put the quote number in Your reference, so each document leads back to its quote.

3

Step 3

A second Zap if you want one: SignSealer's Document Completed, then an email or a message to whoever books the work.

Questions

Will the signature show up in Jobber?

With the native connection, yes: a note on the quote listing each document, who signed it and when, with a link to it in SignSealer. Jobber's Zapier app has no step that writes to a quote, so today the signed document is in SignSealer, found by the quote number.

Does it change my quote, its prices or its status?

No. The native connection reads the quote, its client and its property, and the only thing it writes is that note. Approving, converting and invoicing stay in Jobber.

Will my clients be texted the link?

Links go by email. They go by text only to a client whose consent to receive texts from you is on file in SignSealer: a phone number on a Jobber client is not consent, and SignSealer never treats it as if it were.

Is SignSealer in Jobber's App Marketplace?

Not yet. Jobber reviews an app before it is listed there, and this page will say so when SignSealer's is.

Is Jobber included on Free?

No. Connecting Jobber comes with the membership, $9.99 a month from prepaid credit. The membership keeps the first 10 signings of each month free, including the ones Jobber sends. On Free you still get 10 signings a month, sent from the dashboard.
